Back in the game

Dear Friends

Normally, I would have posted my “Sunday coming down” for those who break bread with me over music. I hope to get back in that groove next week. Today though, I’m just showing up to say hello again to old friends and wish a warm welcome to those who have joined me over the past few months.

It would be great to know how 2016 has treated you. I can’t help but think of a quote from Charles Dickens’ Β “Tale of two cities” in which his introduction reads: “It was the worst of times, it was the best of times”. Perhaps, like me, some of you can relate depending on your experiences and perspectives.

One of the things I’ve been reminded of in returning to my Blog is how useful creativity is, not only in giving us an outlet, but also how it presents us with a different perspective. I found that the quote below captures best what I mean. If we can’t dream, believe and hope and act for a better world, what else is there?

So, I’m looking forward to re-entering the creative zone with you. While I’m still making my way back, I thought I’d leave you with this song which is apt for my message: Fallen by Lauren Wood. Have a great week ahead y’all!!!

    1. Ah! Funny that you say you are surfing your old stuff, so am I this minute. I thought of re-blogging a few things since I have lots that new readers haven’t seen.
But to your point – I’m happy to have sparked the thought, stirred the fire or prompted the deluge ha!ha!
Btw my new tag line is just another way of talking about synchronicity – I am so in awe of that word and the experiences I have. So I’m not surprisedπŸ˜‰

        1. You will – sometimes, I can’t believe that I wrote what I did. I guess, we don’t realise what we are capable of until we put ourselves to the test. Hope you’ve had a good evening – surfing! πŸ˜€

    1. Hello and thank you for the visit. Hope you are now settled in Germany. Did you mean the snow on my screen or real snow back home? Either way, I’d love some since it’s sweltering heat here!πŸ˜€

        1. Ah! – well you inspired me to write about my experience of the snow. I guess we have to be careful what we wish for. I know I should be more grateful for having long Summer days. Snow has a certain romance for us who hardly ever see it. Enjoy your Saturday!
