Normally, I would have posted my “Sunday coming down” for those who break bread with me over music. I hope to get back in that groove next week. Today though, I’m just showing up to say hello again to old friends and wish a warm welcome to those who have joined me over the past few months.
It would be great to know how 2016 has treated you. I can’t help but think of a quote from Charles Dickens’ “Tale of two cities” in which his introduction reads: “It was the worst of times, it was the best of times”. Perhaps, like me, some of you can relate depending on your experiences and perspectives.
One of the things I’ve been reminded of in returning to my Blog is how useful creativity is, not only in giving us an outlet, but also how it presents us with a different perspective. I found that the quote below captures best what I mean. If we can’t dream, believe and hope and act for a better world, what else is there?
So, I’m looking forward to re-entering the creative zone with you. While I’m still making my way back, I thought I’d leave you with this song which is apt for my message: Fallen by Lauren Wood. Have a great week ahead y’all!!!
