Sunday thoughts

Dear Reader

I enjoy posting quotes that resonate with me at the time I find them and many I use for my own inspiration. At the same time, my hope is that the quote might just be what you needed to read on that day.Any piece of writing will impact differently depending on what is happening in your life.

My Sunday reflection is intended to add an additional comment on why the Quote has significance for me in the hope that this might be useful to you too.

When I look back on 2015 it has been a very  exciting and rewarding year for me in many respects. However, there have also been very difficult and unpleasant experiences I’ve had to contend with. I’m also facing important life transitions following the end of this month.

When I saw this quote, it was a reminder of how I have overcome some challenges and turned them into opportunities, achievements and life lessons. When we are faced with perceived negative experiences in life, we are often blinded by the fact that there is good that can be derived from criticism, negative emotions, conflicts and many other disruptive experiences. Being vigilant to the positive and good in any/every situation is when you learn gratitude and I believe that gratitude attracts more gifts into your life.

Of course, being human, this does not always work like magic and we don’t suddenly stop being angry, sad, lonely, depressed etc

Here’s hoping though that reading this will mean something for you and I’d love to get your feedback.
